Security Source Acquires 50-Year Old Company

May 27, 2013

LP Network Inc., dba Security Source, Wilmington, Mass., completed the acquisition of the assets of Martco Inc.  Security Source identified Martco, Louisville, Ky., a provider of sophisticated video surveillance products and services to quick service restaurants, banks and convenience stores, as a way to enhance is service offering to nationwide retailers.

“When my family and I decided to sell our business, we were delighted to find Security Source — a company that shares our family’s commitment to excellence in customer service,” said Spencer Martin, chief executive officer of Martco and son of founder Nick Martin.

“Security Source has grown dramatically over the past eight years and the addition of Martco will accelerate our growth in the video surveillance industry,” remarked Justin Wormell, president of Security Source. “We anticipate no immediate changes to the structure or operations of Martco.”

Security Source is a provider of lock & hardware, video surveillance, and access control products and services throughout North America to leading retailers, quick service restaurants, and a variety of other commercial clients. Martco, a family-owned business for more than 50 years, is an experienced provider of security and surveillance equipment.
