Convergint Technologies, Schaumburg, Ill., ranked No. 6 on SDM’s Top Systems Integrators Report, announced its acquisition of Beacon Security and Communications Solutions, a provider of physical security systems and services in the United Kingdom and throughout Europe. Beacon is a value-added security solutions provider serving global Fortune 500 companies. Founded in 1994 in Crowborough, England, Beacon provides a wide array of security services including system design, integration, support and training.
