IP-ACM is a flexible, future-proof Ethernet door module that provides IT-savvy customers with a highly secure and cost-effective option to manage their security. IP-ACM is installed near the doors that it’s controlling and communicates over IP to an iSTAR Ultra GCM using AES-256 encryption, thereby reducing wiring and installation costs all while being highly secure. It is a highly flexible and scalable device capable of supporting two individual doors or one door with in-and-out readers, and it can be used in hybrid solutions as well as pure IP deployments. IP-ACM is one of the industry’s only IP door modules that offers a configurable offline mode to allow authorized cardholders access if network communications are lost. The module also features a network latency alarm allowing operators to proactively manage network issues.
