On July 5, 2016, the 2012 Edition of NFPA 101 and the 2010 Edition of NFPA 72 began applying to all healthcare facilities participating in Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement programs. The AFAA is providing a free webinar sponsored by Siemens to explain the impact these new standards have on facilities that were previously required to comply with the 2000 Edition of NFPA 101 (and the 1999 Edition of NFPA 72). The webinar will focus on the fire alarm system requirements and related inspection, testing and maintenance requirements for healthcare facilities.
