SureView Systems, provider of the security software platform Immix, announced a partnership agreement with Signal 88 Security of Tampa for its new Immix Guard Force product.  Immix Guard Force is a hosted service version of Immix Command Center, a situational awareness software platform used by businesses, institutions and agencies to monitor security systems and protect critical assets.  Immix Guard Force is designed for customers to offer Immix Command Center as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model from their security operations center (SOC) to private command center customers or other affiliates.

While the initial partnership will service the Tampa and Orlando, Florida region, Signal 88 will eventually have the ability to offer Immix Guard Force services to its 200 branch offices across North America. This will enable the company to seamlessly offer advanced, value-add services to customers, regardless of location. The fact that it is a SaaS-based model provides Signal 88 with a lower cost of entry to the market, lower operating costs, reduced infrastructure, IT and maintenance costs — all of which results in an easy deployment and rapid go to market capability.

“We tried to get into the managed video services market a couple of years ago using other methods and it just did not meet our expectations or give us the confidence that we could deliver the level of service needed to maintain our standards,” said Mike Daly, president, Signal 88 Security of Tampa.  “After increasing customer demand, we decided to research the opportunity again and discovered SureView’s Immix Guard Force product, which we saw as a very logical fit to benefit our primary business model. This will enable us to not only provide better and more cost-efficient services for our customers, it will also greatly increase the effectiveness of our officers in the field through the alerting and video viewing capabilities of the Immix mobile app and the ability to integrate with our dispatch and GPS software, giving us the best possible optimization of our operation through a single interface.”

Immix Guard Force is primarily used by physical guard providers which, like Signal 88, are looking to augment and enhance their service offerings through technology that allows them to rapidly grow their businesses through back-end managed services and the outsourcing of traditional command center operations without incurring heavy additional costs.

“SureView saw a tremendous opportunity with Signal 88 Security due to their unique business model,” said Chris Brown, vice president, central stations for SureView Systems. “Signal 88 now has the ability to use video and other technology to give them the intelligence needed to make the most effective use of their roving officers in the field. That intelligence, along with the superior integration capabilities and scalability of our solution, gives them the tools, methodology and reporting infrastructure needed to satisfy most any client’s needs.  Couple that with the ability to seamlessly and cost effectively roll these services out across all of their branch offices and you have a strong model for long-term, sustained success.”

SureView Systems will be demonstrating its entire Immix platform, including Guard Force, at ISC West in Las Vegas, April 11-13 in booth # 22053.
