VideoEdge TrickleStor provides a highly integrated camera connectivity solution protecting against video loss by recording locally on Illustra cameras. Video is protected by switching the storage of recorded video to the camera’s SD card when an outage takes place. When connectivity is re-established, recorded video trickles back to the NVR in the exact place where it would have been had the network remained intact. TrickleStor automates the process of media database repair, reducing the number of areas that causes a customer concern when a network failure event occurs.
