STI Alarm Prevents Theft Of Fire Extinguishers
STI reports the solution to help stop extinguishers from being stolen is the highly effective fire extinguisher theft stopper (STI-6200) alarm. The battery-operated alarm offers a unique steel cable operated switch mechanism to help stop theft and vandalism of fire extinguishers. If the protected fire extinguisher is moved from its normal position, the device emits a piercing alarm (95 or 105 dB). This alarm helps draw attention to a fire extinguisher. Completely self-contained, the device does not interfere with firefighting in any way. In case of a real fire, the alarm helps draw attention to the area.
