Custom Alarm was recently recognized by Workforce Development Inc. as one of the “Best Places to Work in southeast Minn.” for the fourth straight year.

The purpose of the program is to recognize some of the best employers in southeast Minnesota and provide vital information to companies about the practices they use to attract and retain employees.

Each participating company was required to complete a 40-question survey that allowed their employment practices to be analyzed by Personnel Dynamics Consulting of Florida. The data was measured on parameters such as: turnover, rate of growth, promotion rates, employee evaluations and feedback, percentage of employee injured, diversity of management, benefits offered, training expenditures, paid days off and increase in pay.

Custom Alarm excelled in many areas throughout the 40-question survey, like training, promotions and the percentage of promotions in the organization.

“Receiving this award and recognition for the fourth year in a row is validating to us as an organization especially during this time,” staid Custom Alarm CEO Melissa Brinkman. “Now more than ever we are doing our best to hold onto our culture and adapt through this changing time.
