Mission 500 announced their recent networking event raised $75,000 for families in need and the New York Firefighters Burn Center Foundation Children’s Camp, which supports  children badly injured in fires.

The charity golf event, chaired by Ken Gould and Ed Keshecki, took place in lieu of the annual softball game that was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The security industry and the NYFD fire fighters came together to raise funds for families and children across America.

The event was sold out in just two weeks, and included an outdoor luncheon where Mission 500 held an awards ceremony honoring Chris Mosley, president and CEO of Complete Security Systems and ADT, for their generous contributions to children and families in need throughout the years.

“We are very fortunate to have such a giving industry to come out and support our efforts. We will be forever grateful for the support we received during a hard economic time,” said Ken Gould, chairman of Mission 500. “The event was completely volunteer driven. Our northeast committee did an amazing job making sure that all precautions were met and that social distancing rules were adhered to. We truly couldn’t have done it without our volunteers.”

The event drew 144 golfers and additional lunch guests, providing an opportunity for security professionals to network.
