Barnes Associates, Inc., a consulting and advisory firm specializing in the security alarm industry announced that Joe Thompson has joined the company as a senior vice president. Previously, he was the senior vice president and portfolio manager for Pacific Western Bank’s activities in the security alarm industry, a position he also held with CapitalSource when they were acquired by Pacific Western Bank. Prior to that, he was the chief credit officer of SLP Capital, formerly known as Security Leasing Partners.
