Resideo Technologies Inc. announced its intention to separate its ADI Global Distribution business through a tax-free spin-off to Resideo shareholders.
The Pittsburgh store is also open and planning its own grand opening event soon, with more locations across the country to come in cities including Raleigh, San Antonio, Atlanta, San Diego, Charleston and more.
This makes integration and installation simple for integrators who are interested in adding these new brands to their projects, the announcement states.
The store replaces the previous ADI location that had been serving local customers, and provides Snap One customers with a convenient shopping option that was not available to them before.
Resideo’s Q2 financials reveal growth in ADI Global Distribution sales, bolstered by the recent Snap One acquisition, despite overall declines in net profit and adjusted EBITDA.
The combined entities are said to create a strong position in security, A/V and smart living technology distribution for residential and commercial markets.
