Sonitrol Corp., Fort Worth, Texas, a provider of verified electronic security for homes, schools and businesses, announced its dealers’ association’s newly elected officers at the Sonitrol National Dealers Association (SNDA) Annual Convention and Awards Banquet.
Sonitrol, Orlando, Fla., reached a milestone by assisting in its 170,000th documented apprehension since 1977, when the company began documenting apprehension statistics.
The Partnership for Priority Video Alarm Response (PPVAR) announced that the Sonitrol National Dealers Association (SNDA) voted to become a member of the PPVAR. The SNDA is composed of 45 independent Sonitrol franchise holders with locations across the United States and Canada.
Stanley Convergent Security Solutions Inc. (Stanley CSS), Naperville, Ill., announced the purchase of selected Verifier Capital accounts in the southern United States. The purchase includes mostly commercial accounts using the Sonitrol impact-activated audio technology and a small number of traditional digital security accounts. Terms of the sale were not disclosed.
Stanley Convergent Security Solutions Inc. (Stanley CSS), Naperville, Ill., purchased Electronic Protection Network Inc. (doing business as Sonitrol of Savannah), a Sonitrol dealer since 2002, located in Savannah, Ga.
