Iowa Alarm Association Honors Blake Finch With Lifetime Service Award

SDM congratulates Blake Finch, Per Mar Security, on being honored as the recipient of the Lifetime Service Award by the Iowa Alarm Association. In recognition of his leadership and dedication, and for having been instrumental in bringing his years of experience and expertise to the association by helping the state to establish guidelines for the licensing and training of all security alarm technicians in Iowa, he was presented this award at the monthly meeting held in Amana, Iowa, on Oct. 21, 2010.

Finch retired as of June 30, 2010, after 34 years as a member of the Per Mar Security Services team. He originally joined Per Mar in Oct. 1976, as a mobile patrol security officer. In his long career, he advanced and brought his experience and knowledge to many facets of the industry including management of the Davenport, Iowa, branch office and in Per Mar’s corporate center leading physical security, electronic security and investigations, as assistant to the president overseeing accounting and other corporate departments, as vice president of electronic security and as vice president of support services.
