For the first time, artificial intelligence (AI) has been named the top Security Megatrend by the Security Industry Association (SIA).

At the Securing New Ground conference, held October 29-30 in New York City, industry executives, manufacturers, integrators and financial partners gathered to discuss the business of security. 

The Security Industry Association (SIA) has identified and forecasted the 2020 Security Megatrends, which form the basis of SIA’s signature annual Security Megatrends report defining the top 10 factors influencing both short- and long-term change in the global security industry.
