SIA GovSummit 2022 will be held May 24-25 as an in-person conference at the National Association of Home Builders headquarters in downtown Washington, D.C.    

The SIA GovSummit brings together government security professionals and private industry technologists for information sharing and education on security topics affecting federal, state and local agencies. 

The Security Industry Association (SIA) has named Marta García Gomar, chief technology officer for IDENTY Touchless ID, and Amy Turluck, director of the Biometrics Operations Directorate within the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD), as the 2021 winners of the Women in Biometrics Awards.

The Security Industry Association (SIA) has announced the agenda and speaker lineup for the second installment of the 2021 SIA GovSummit, its annual public policy and government security technology conference. 

The Security Industry Association presented the first part of the 2021 SIA GovSummit, its annual public policy and government security technology conference, on Wednesday, April 28.

Due to concerns around the COVID-19 pandemic, SIA GovSummit will be held as a virtual event in 2020, and for the first time ever, the conference will be entirely free to all attendees from industry and government.  

The recipients of this year’s Women in Biometrics Awards will be honored at the 2020 SIA GovSummit, held June 2-3 in Washington, D.C.
