A security system provided by Hikvision USA Inc. was installed by TAS Electronics of Yorkville, N.Y. to upgrade the Armadillo, a repurposed Brink’s armored truck used by the Utica Police Department (UPD).

Per Mar Security Services, a provider of total security solutions for residential and commercial clients based in Davenport, Iowa, was a recipient of the 2017 Honeywell Community Service Award. 

CLARK Security Products coordinated a nationwide equipment drive in August to collect new and gently used equipment for Pitch In For Baseball, a non-profit foundation that distributes the equipment to kids around the world.

Vivint™, Provo, Utah, a home automation company, announced the first matching period for the Vivint Gives Back Project. During these periods, Vivint will match supporter donations made to the 100 regional finalists of the Vivint Gives Back Project, an online charitable contest. The first matching period starts on July 21 at 12 a.m. (midnight) MDT and runs through 11:59 p.m. MDT on July 22, 2011.
