Guardian Protection announced it has acquired Rampart Security Systems in Greensburg, Pa. Rampart has operated for 35 years, professionally installing monitored commercial and residential security systems. The acquisition includes 3,600 accounts and will increase Guardian’s customer base in its Western Pennsylvania footprint.

We will continue to look for additional acquisition opportunities as we leverage our vision to grow Guardian.” 

As part of the acquisition, Rampart customers will transition from Rampart’s third-party monitoring center to Guardian’s U.L.-certified Five Diamond-accredited monitoring facilities. Guardian plans to operate Rampart’s existing location as a Guardian satellite location and Rampart’s employees are expected to join the Guardian Protection team. Jason Bradley, Guardian’s vice-president of care and monitoring operations, will lead the operation and is spearheading the transition.
