The Security Industry Association (SIA) and ISC West have revealed the initial details for the SIA New Products and Solutions (NPS) Awards at ISC West 2022, including a new name and logo, along with the awards submission and presentation schedule. The SIA NPS Awards competition — formerly the SIA New Product Showcase — is presented in partnership with ISC West recognizing innovative security products, services and solutions.

The renaming from the SIA New Product Showcase brand to the SIA New Products and Solutions Awards reflects the evolution of the security industry to include offerings beyond solely hardware and software.

“My committee members and I are excited about the rebranding of this program and were pleased to participate with SIA in this transformation,” said Christopher Grniet, chair of the SIA NPS Committee. “We believe the new name and logo align with the evolution of the industry by recognizing that products are no longer just hardware and software but include the innovation and advancement in services and other solutions provided by the companies in this space.”

New products and solutions are reviewed by a panel of more than 30 independent judges with extensive industry experience, and entrants compete for awards in 36 categories, as well as the prestigious Best New Product and Judges’ Choice awards.

Entrants in the 2022 SIA NPS Awards will make face-to-face presentations of their products and solutions to the NPS judges during ISC West, and entries will be showcased in the heart of the ISC West show floor. The awards ceremony will take place the afternoon of Wednesday, March 23, also on the show floor.

The deadline to submit entries for the 2022 SIA NPS Awards program is Friday, Feb. 4. Key dates and early program details are listed on the SIA website, and the official entry form and additional details will be made available on the ISC West website in early January.
