Milestone Systems, a provider of open platform video management, announces that Mauricio Swain joins the Americas Leadership Team as new director of sales for Latin America, effective May 16. Swain’s primary responsibilities include direct oversight of the sales team and our channel and community partnerships throughout LATAM.

I’m confident he will be a great asset to Milestone and will take the LATAM Go-to-Market organization to the next level.”

Swain has more than 20 years of experience in developing business and commercial sales strategies. Prior to this role, he held the positions of head of BDM for LATAM in Axis Communications; global account director of Latin America at CommScope; and sales director with an infrastructure integrator in Mexico, among others. He is a graduate of ITESM Campus Estado de México, with a bachelor’s degree in systems and electronics engineering and a master’s degree in business administration (MBA), where he specialized in coaching and strategy. He also holds additional certifications such as telecommunications project manager (TPM), registered communications distribution designer (RCDD) by BICSI, among others.
