AlarMax Distributors has acquired the wholesale distribution branches of Cassidy Technologies in St. Paul, Minn., and Des Moines, Iowa, for undisclosed terms.  

With the acquisition, AlarMax builds out its footprint to include 25 branches located across the United States.

Founded more than 20 years ago, Cassidy has long been known for supplying wire and cable to security dealers and other installation contractors. The company eventually expanded its product offering to include intrusion products, access control, video surveillance, total home integration, audio/sound products, datacom and installation tools.
