Looking to boost your career in the security industry, make connections and have fun at ISC West? Join the Security Industry Association (SIA) and ISC West at the Career Zone — an all-new feature on the ISC West show floor! This offering, presented by SIA and ISC with support from the Foundation for Advancing Security Talent (FAST), SIA’s Human Resources Working Group, the SIA RISE community for young security professionals and the SIA Women in Security Forum, was created to help you grow your skills and get expert insights to propel your career.

While you’re at the show, don’t miss the opportunity to come by the Career Zone to get a new professional headshot! From 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, attendees can come by the Headshot Studio to get their photos taken. The Headshot Studio includes a self-directed styling bar to help you prep for your shot. This service is free and will be available on a first come, first served basis.

Additionally, at the Career Zone you can access top-quality content on leadership, career development and more. In a session led by industry executives on the FAST Board of Directors, get security leaders’ perspectives on the top industry credentials that can help you advance your career. And join an all-star industry panel for great tips on developing your personal brand. Plus, SIA’s Women in Security Forum will host an engaging session sharing career advice by and for women.

FAST — a 501(c)(3) organization created by SIA and the Electronic Security Association to promote careers in the physical security technology industry — has set up a cornhole area as part of the Career Zone, where attendees can come by to enjoy a game of cornhole, network, learn more about FAST and make donations to the organization in support of FAST’s mission.
