In an awards ceremony held yesterday afternoon, several security professionals were honored for their contributions to the security industry and inducted into the SSI Hall of Fame. Over 100 members have since joined the ranks of the SSI Hall of Fame over the years. This year, the following security professionals were recognized for going above and beyond in professionalism, conduct and achievement.

Members of the 2023 SSI Hall of Fame are:

• Maria Cambria, Vice President, Sales Enablement — Solutions, Teledyne FLIR
• Ray Coulombe, Managing Director, Security Specifiers
• Don Erickson, CEO, Security Industry Association (SIA)
• Jamie Haenggi, President, ADT Solar
• Morgan Hertel, Vice President of Technology and Innovation, Rapid Response Monitoring
• Jim Wooster, President (semi-retired), Alarm Financial Services

The Hall of Fame Ring of Honor for 2023, which is bestowed upon a previously enshrined Hall of Famer who has continued to excel at least 10 years post-induction, goes to Stan Martin. Martin was inducted 18 years ago in the second Hall class and remains active as the profession’s foremost false alarm issues arbiter and liaison to law enforcement.
