Preferred Technologies (Pref-Tech), a security integration firm based in Houston, celebrated the grand opening of its new Dallas/Fort Worth office.
The event, hosted on September 12 at the new facility, marked a significant milestone for the company’s expansion in the region. The event was attended by clients, vendors, industry leaders and the Pref-Tech team. Guests, some of whom traveled by bus from the GSX 2023 convention site, were treated to a catered lunch and networking.
Shaun Castillo, president of Preferred Tech, expressed his gratitude, saying, “Thank you for all of the years of support from everyone. The Pref-Tech employees continue to amaze me with the work that [they] do and desire to be the best they can be to truly build the most well-respected security integration company on the planet. That’s the small task I have given our team.”
Castillo continued, “We have big expectations for this office. [We are going to] serve the customers in the DFW market and give them the Pref-Tech experience that we have given our customers for 18 years. Thank you for your loyalty and support to us through the years; we appreciate it.”
The event showcased Pref-Tech’s dedication to providing innovative technology services across various industries including government, education, healthcare, airports, commercial facilities and more. With the opening of the Dallas/Fort Worth office, Pref-Tech aims to strengthen its presence in Texas and better serve its clients in the North Texas region, according to the announcement.
The newly established office boasts a new technology/training wall and a team of highly skilled professionals ready to collaborate with local businesses and organizations to secure their facilities. The company also operates a facility in Austin, which it opened in 2017.
Pref-Tech, which placed no. 21 on the 2023 Top Systems Integrators Report Rankings, specializes in integration and software development, physical security systems, wired and wireless networks, and low-voltage systems.
