Rapid Response Monitoring has announced Joseph Finney as director of information technology. In his new role, Finney will oversee the daily operations of the IT department, develop preventative maintenance plans for upgrading technology, and monitor performance metrics to reduce cyber security risks.

“There is a lot of room to strengthen policies and ensure our company continues to exceed industry standards. My priority is to ensure that the data of our Dealers and their customers remains secure,” said Finney.

With over 25 years of military experience, Finney brings an extensive background in large-scale communications and telecommunication systems for the Air Force. During his military career, Finney led IT teams in a variety of conditions including equipment set-ups in the pouring rain and tents in the middle of an open field.

“Joseph has a proven track-record of successfully leading IT teams. I am confident that his resiliency and leadership will continue to propel us forward in technology growth, expanding what Rapid Response is able to offer our dealer partners,” said Jeffrey Atkins, president of Rapid Response Monitoring.

Finney holds a master of science in information technology management, and a bachelor of science in computer science from Trident University International.
