Mercury Improves System Responsiveness With Embedded Controller App

Mercury Security has unveiled its embedded application environment for Mercury MP Controllers. It enables technology partners and OEMs to develop and deploy custom applications directly on access control hardware, bringing real-time logic processing to the edge. Unlike traditional controllers that rely on server-based logic, this platform reduces latency, increases availability, and enhances system redundancy by shifting intelligence closer to the door. The Mercury embedded application environment improves system responsiveness, minimizes network dependency, and simplifies interoperability by seamlessly integrating controllers with IoT devices, elevators, readers, and locks.
