Shelly Gen4 Devices Now Shipping in North America

Shelly Group, a provider of home automation and smart building solutions, announced availability of the first wave of Gen4 smart home devices.

Effective immediately, customers can purchase four of Shelly’s powerful Gen4 products: Shelly 1 PM Gen4, Shelly 1 Gen4, Shelly 1 PM Mini Gen4, and Shelly 1 Mini Gen4 directly from Shelly or through authorized distribution partners across North America.

The Gen4 Series provides smart home flexibility, offering multi-protocol support across Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, and Matter to ensure secure and seamless connectivity, while bolstering integration options. With Gen4 devices now shipping, Shelly reinforces its core mission to give smart home users the freedom and flexibility to connect and control their smart homes however they please.

The following Shelly Gen4 devices are now shipping:

  • Shelly 1 PM Gen4  – A 16A smart relay with integrated power measurement for lighting, outlets, 120v appliances and more.
  • Shelly 1 Gen4  – A 16A dry contact smart relay for low-voltage, high-voltage and contactor control applications.
  • Shelly 1 PM Mini Gen4  – The world’s smallest smart relay. Supports 8A and power measurement for and small appliances.
  • Shelly 1 Mini Gen4  – The world’s smallest dry contact smart relay. Supports 8A to for small appliances and contactors.

The Gen4 Series caters to all users, from beginners to advanced enthusiasts, and delivers a robust suite of features including scheduling, scene creation, automation, scripting, and power monitoring. Built with a privacy-first approach, Gen4 devices offer local control for enhanced data security alongside a GDPR-compliant mobile app and cloud environment. The multi-protocol design supports integration with all major platforms like Google Home, Amazon Alexa, and Apple HomeKit.

Shelly’s Gen4 platform was built with scalability in mind. The devices within the portfolio are designed to  grow with users’ evolving needs, offering both ease of use and advanced customization. Customers can expect additional Gen4 devices to become available in the coming months, further expanding the line to cover any need within the connected home.
