IDIS Americas announced the appointment of Darron Parker to the position of executive vice president of sales, IDIS Americas.

Based in Canada, Parker will lead the IDIS Americas sales and business development organization, overseeing the company’s growing network of integration and distribution partners, as well as its expanding base of end users. He will lead strategic growth efforts while ensuring the delivery of customized video surveillance solutions to meet the diverse needs of industry clients.

Parker brings to IDIS Americas more than 25 years of executive-level experience across the security-manufacturing, security monitoring, telecommunications, and retail sectors. Prior to joining IDIS Americas, he held leadership roles including vice president & general manager, Canada, for the video security & access control division at Motorola Solutions Inc.; vice president of Pelco sales for North America; national sales manager at Bell Aliant; and vice president of sales at The Source.
