Paxton has selected Shriners Children’s Greenville as its local charity of the year.
Fundraising efforts to support the organization are already underway, with a lineup of engaging charity days and fun activities throughout the year. All funds will help provide children with essential treatments and mobility solutions that enhance their quality of life.
Dana Calhoun, office manager, Paxton, said, “As part of our commitment to making a difference, we are proud to support Shriners Children’s Greenville this year and contribute to their mission of caring for children in need. Through our collective efforts, we hope to make a meaningful impact.”
Shriners Children’s Greenville provides expert pediatric orthopedic care for conditions like scoliosis, limb deficiencies, and cerebral palsy. Home to the largest group of pediatric orthopedic surgeons in the Carolinas, the hospital utilizes its advanced Motion Analysis Center to develop personalized treatment plans for patients.
Paul Finelli, senior director, philanthropy, Shriners, said, “Shriners Children’s Greenville is proud to be partnering with Paxton and its employees in fulfilling Shriners’ century-old mission and promise. Our hospital has relied on the generosity of our community since 1927, and we are grateful to have Paxton as a friend in our life-changing and healing work.
In addition to medical care, the hospital offers physical therapy, prosthetics, and orthotics to enhance mobility and quality of life, providing access to treatment regardless of a family’s financial situation. A recent digital expansion connects specialists across Shriners facilities, forming the world’s largest unified pediatric motion analysis system to improve collaboration and patient outcomes.
For over 90 years, Shriners Children’s Greenville has been a beacon of hope for children and families. Our employees will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of creative fundraising events throughout the year, building a spirit of teamwork and generosity within the company.
