Expanding sales operation to cover North America, barox Kommunikation GmbH, the Swiss manufacturer of video security networking L2/L3 switches, media converters, IP extenders and network management software, has appointed Reinhard Florin to the role of vice president of North America sales.

In this new role, Reinhard will be leading the development and execution of barox’s go-to-market strategy as well as head a team of sales and technical support professionals. Reinhard brings over 30 years of senior executive experience in the networking industry, where he advanced recognizable brands, most recently as the global general manager of Comnet by Acre.
