Platinum Tools Debuts New Field Termination Cat8 Connectors & Keystones

Platinum Tools’ new Field Termination Cat8 Connectors and Keystones, now available and with three new SKUs, are designed for technicians working with Cat8 or oversized cables that do not typically fit in a standard connector. The new Field Termination Cat8 Connectors and Keystones include:
- 106270; Cat8 Shielded Toolless RJ45 Connector
- 106275; Cat8 Shielded Toolless Keystone Jack
- 106280; Cat8 Shielded Toolless Keystone Jack with Shutter
These Cat8 connectors snap closed to terminate, work on all standard cables including Cat8, Cat7, Cat6A, Cat6 and Cat5e, and have a cable OD range of 5mm – 9.9mm and a conductor OD range of 0.8mm – 1.47mm.
