SIA Releases Details for 2026 Perimeter PREVENT

The Security Industry Association (SIA) has announced details for Perimeter PREVENT. This year’s event, which examines the critical issues related to perimeter defense for physical environments, will be held June 24 in Washington, D.C.
Perimeter PREVENT, presented by SIA’s Perimeter Security Subcommittee, gathers policymakers, federal agency personnel, architects, engineers and security solution providers for a full-day conference program that offers educational presentations, networking opportunities and an open forum to share questions and ideas. Attendees will get access to invaluable insights on the full sphere of perimeter security topics, from physical hardening to layering detection technologies at the perimeter, with strong areas of focus including government facilities, public events and spaces, data centers, policies and regulations.
“The perimeter is constantly evolving, and layered and strategic approaches to perimeter security are more needed than ever before in today’s environment,” said Don Erickson, CEO, SIA. “Perimeter PREVENT is an event designed to keep you up to date on the elements and technologies needed in a perimeter security strategy and how they can be applied to high-value environments like critical infrastructure, data centers, government and commercial facilities and public events.”
Registration is open for Perimeter PREVENT 2026.
