Built on NXP’s MIFARE DUOX technology, LEAF Verified uses Public Key (PK) cryptography with the goal of eliminating encryption key management while enabling true interoperability across any compatible device.

LEAF Verified embeds security at the chip manufacturing stage, making the credential’s authenticity secure from the moment it’s produced and achieving EAL 6+ certification. This makes credential cloning virtually impossible.

LEAF Verified uses certificate-based PK authentication with asymmetric encryption instead of traditional shared-key methods. Each credential contains a public key that can be shared and a private key that remains securely embedded on the card during manufacturing.
