ESA’s Empowering Women in Technology Scholarship Returns for 2026

The Electronic Security Association (ESA) is now accepting applications for the 2026 “Empowering Women in Technology” scholarship, designed to support women advancing careers in electronic security and life safety technology. Six outstanding women will receive complimentary training and certification to help strengthen their skills and professional growth.
“Women bring unique perspectives and innovation to our industry,” said Jillian Bateman-McIntosh, chief operating officer, ESA. “This scholarship is an investment in their careers and in the future of the industry.”
The program will award three Certified Alarm Technician Level 1 certifications and three Level 2 certifications, providing training for technicians and managers.
Applications are open through April 3, and the winners will be notified on April 9.
