Traka, an ASSA ABLOY company and the global company in intelligent management solutions for keys and equipment, appointed Tanji Fountain as the newly-created regional sales manager for the Mid-Atlantic region, effective March 16, 2026. In this role, Fountain will report to Craig Newell, vice president of sales and business development for Traka Americas.

Fountain has more than 20 years of experience in sales and over a decade serving the security industry, with a strong background in enterprise security solutions, sales strategy and professional development. Prior to joining Traka, she held key roles with leading organizations, including Securitas Security Services USA, Brivo and ADT.

Based in North Carolina, Fountain will focus on strengthening regional partnerships, supporting channel and enterprise customers, and driving adoption of Traka’s intelligent key and equipment management solutions across critical industries.

While Fountain’s career has been rooted in sales leadership, she is particularly passionate about mentoring, training and sales enablement, areas where she has consistently helped teams grow and deliver exceptional customer experiences. She also remains actively involved in the security community through organizations, including the Women in Security Forum and the Security LeadHER Advisory Board.

Originally from Michigan, Fountain has spent the past 17 years in North Carolina. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys writing (she is currently working on a book) and traveling with her family. Some of her favorite travel destinations include Santorini and Monte Carlo. She and her husband have been married for 29 years and have two daughters.
