HavenLock Announces Availability Date of Gen4 Access Control Platform
HavenLock Inc. announced the commercial availability of its Generation 4 (Gen4) Access Control System, with shipments to authorized distributors beginning in June 2026.
Designed to replace traditional magnetic locks and electric strikes, the Gen4 platform introduces a new approach to securing doors, combining ease of installation with high-strength physical locking and modern access control integration in a top of door mounted system. Developed in partnership with Alarm.com and the United States Air Force, the Haven Gen4 platform integrates directly into the Alarm.com ecosystem, enabling centralized control, mobile access management and event monitoring through the Alarm.com interface.
“The Haven Gen4 represents a step change for the Access Control industry. The product was designed to give integrators a modern alternative to legacy door hardware,” said Alex Bertelli, CEO, HavenLock. “Now that the system is entering distribution, dealers can deploy an easier to install solution that combines strong physical locking hardware with sensing capabilities and cloud integration.”
Haven Gen4 was engineered to simplify the process for dealers and integrators.
This integration with Alarm.com allows dealers already deploying Alarm.com systems to incorporate Haven hardware into existing security environments. The system is also compatible with other existing access control infrastructure, allowing organizations to upgrade door security without replacing their current platform.
The Haven Gen4 platform was designed for deployment across commercial, education, healthcare and government environments The system is compliant with key life-safety standards including NFPA 101 Life Safety Code (one-motion egress), UL 294, UL 10C and ADA compliance. The platform has also received U.S. Department of Homeland Security SAFETY Act designation, providing federal liability protections for qualified users and deployers.
