Zeus Fire and Security, a portfolio company of Baltimore-based Access Holdings, announced its acquisition of PM Alarms LLC, a provider of fire alarm, security, access control and video solutions serving Chattanooga and Southeast Tennessee since 1961. PM Alarms will join forces with Zeus partner Gallaher & Associates to further the Zeus mission of protecting people, property and profits and expand Zeus’s presence across Tennessee.

Founded in 1961, PM Alarms has built a six-decade reputation for locally responsive service. Licensed in both Tennessee and Georgia, the company specializes in commercial fire alarm systems, intrusion security, access control, video solutions and video monitoring.

“The addition of PM Alarms marks another exciting step forward for Zeus and Gallaher as we continue to strengthen our presence in Tennessee,” said Brandon Ramsey, president and chief operating officer, Zeus Fire and Security. “PM Alarms’ strong reputation, technical expertise and customer-first approach align perfectly with Gallaher’s culture and our mission to protect people, property and profits. Together, we’re building a stronger network of local leaders who deliver exceptional service backed by the scale and innovation of the Zeus platform.”

As part of the Zeus platform, PM Alarms customers will have access to an expanded portfolio of fire protection and security services, backed by Zeus’ enhanced monitoring capabilities and a national support network. PM Alarms employees will gain access to career development resources, training programs and the collaborative culture that has made Zeus a destination employer across the fire and security industry.

“We’re excited to welcome PM Alarms into the Gallaher and Zeus family,” said Max Thomas, president, Gallaher & Associates. “For over 60 years, PM Alarms has delivered the kind of reliable local service that our customers expect and our communities deserve. This partnership allows us to combine our shared commitment to excellence with expanded resources, giving customers access to a broader set of capabilities and the assurance that comes with being served by a company with deep local roots and the resources of a national leader.”

Stephen Castello, owner of PM Alarms, will remain involved through the transition to ensure continuity of service for existing customers and a seamless integration for the PM Alarms team.

“Joining Gallaher and Zeus is the right next step for PM Alarms, our customers and our team,” Castello said. “Zeus and Gallaher share our values, our commitment to doing things the right way and our dedication to the people we protect. Our customers will continue to be served by the same people they know, with even more tools and support behind them.”
