Telguard Unveils TG 7EM Multi Carrier Intrusion Communicator

Telguard announced the TG 7EM, its newest multi-carrier 5G LTE M and LAN dual path communicator designed specifically for commercial intrusion applications. The TG 7EM is designed to deliver a new standard of reliability, redundancy and flexibility for mission critical intrusion installations.
The TG 7EM combines multi-carrier cellular connectivity with LAN-based dual path communication to help ensure alarm signals reach the central station without interruption. Supporting AT&T, Verizon and T Mobile, the TG 7EM evaluates network conditions during installation and automatically connects to the best performing carrier using Telguard’s patent pending Carrier Selection Process (CSP). If service degradation or an outage occurs, the communicator seamlessly switches to another carrier to maintain reliable signal delivery — without manual intervention.
For added resilience, the TG 7EM supports true dual path reporting over cellular and LAN. If one communication path becomes unavailable, the secondary path continues transmitting alarm signals, significantly reducing the risk of communication failure in environments where uptime matters.
