Current Concept DesignWorks Expands ReaderRouter Family With New 2-Port Model

Current Concept DesignWorks Inc. (CCDW), a developer of access control products and embedded electronics, announced the release of the ReaderRouter RRT-1/2, a new two-port addition to its established ReaderRouter product family.
The ReaderRouter RRT-1/2 provides a one-input, two-output solution for smaller access control installations that require card reader sharing between two control systems. It delivers the same card swipe routing and some new diagnostic capabilities, now in a more compact footprint at a lower price point.
Key Features of the ReaderRouter RRT-1/2
- One Wiegand reader input port, two Wiegand reader output ports.
- Supports card formats up to 128 bits of Wiegand data.
- Configurable routing onsite via RRConfig software — same tool used for the 4- and 8-port models.
- Improved output isolation and new diagnostic capabilities.
- New “last card swipe” diagnostic feature.
- New isolated Wiegand pull-up capability for access controllers needing it.
- USB configuration port — no external power supply required for programming.
- LED diagnostic indicators for fast on-site troubleshooting.
- Input power: 9–24 VDC.
- Compact form factor mounting and pluggable terminal blocks.
- Flash programmable for field firmware updates.
