NAPCO Realigns Sales Leadership to Drive Growth & Market Expansion

NAPCO Security Technologies Inc., as part of a new growth strategy to drive sales extensively across its product lines (commercial fire, security, access control and locking solutions), announced that its new chief revenue officer, Joe Pipczynski, designed and implemented a comprehensive new plan reorganizing the NAPCO Security Technologies sales and support teams, broadening their strengths and aligning them to better meet security customer needs with increasingly converging technology solutions.
“Much like the MVP Cloud Access platform combines the strengths of the company’s software and hardware, with this new plan, effective July 1st, NAPCO has combined its dealer-oriented fire and security and access control sales teams, NAPCO and Napco Access Pro,” said Stephen Spinelli, senior vice president of sales for all NAPCO divisions. “Now, all collectively support fire, access control and security technology products, along with their expert independent rep firms, and [are] sold by security distributors throughout North America.”
Also under the new structure, this team will now be linked between Eastern and Western U.S., managed by its new vice president / general manager for fire, access control and security technology, Rob Etmans (formerly of Napco Access), and his two accomplished sales directors, Troy Bonnano in the East, and newly-promoted Christian Brandow for the West.
The company’s alarm lock and marks USA sales team has been combined to market its locking and access control solutions, including MVP-EZ mobile app access management, architectural, OEM and custom locking, through its contract hardware and locking distributors, headed up by newly-appointed vice president / general manager of locking sales, Ray Krispin. He is joined by:
- Two accomplished sales directors, Chris Donohue in the East and Lorne Landry in the West.
- Two business development managers, RSMs and a strong team of independent locking rep firms.
Additionally, David Sperber takes on a new leadership role as vice president of NAPCO’s national accounts group, working alongside Ric Gibbey, as manager, in managing and supporting the company's largest national partners across the complete NAPCO Security Technologies product portfolio. This group is further strengthened by the extensive expertise of Tom Karl, vice president of NAPCO’s corporate sales, inside NAPCO HQ. And, returning to a role he previously held with distinction, VP Duane Warehime will lead the company's expanding international sales efforts, while also overseeing strategic special projects.
Enhancing NAPCO's customer experience, Dominic Macri has been promoted to vice president of corporate customer relations, assuming responsibility for the company's technical support, including its technical trainers and field sales engineers across all product lines, as well as inside customer sales, which is headed by David Crews, director, corporate sales operations. Prior to his expanded role, Macri’s department earned the Dealer Support Program Award for two consecutive years.
“I am confident these changes will exploit our strengths and successes, increase overall support and expand NAPCO’s loyal customer base of security professionals under our NapcONE offering, providing and extending some of the top brands and technologies in the security industry, including entering new market verticals, such as A&E, government and international sales,” Pipczynski said. “In short, this plan is designed to effectively multiply our workforce, position us to create more strategic partnerships, and attain key company goals and metrics, as established by senior leadership, with an eye toward double-digit YoY growth.”
