Security 101 Appoints Mike Capra, John May & Jamie Vos to Sales Roles as Part of Regional Sales Strategy

Security 101 is investing in regional sales leadership by establishing vice president, sales and operations roles in each of its regions. As part of this strategy, Security 101 appointed Mike Capra as regional sales director, south region; John May as regional sales director, north region; and Jamie Vos as vice president, sales and operations, west region.
Mike Capra brings more than 28 years of electronic security experience spanning both sales and operations leadership. He entered the industry as a security consultant in the mid-1990s and held branch and regional leadership roles with Sonitrol before spending nearly two decades with Stanley, where he advanced through district, regional operations and sales leadership positions. Following Stanley Security’s transition to Securitas Technology, he served as senior director and later vice president of U.S. Core Commercial Sales. Most recently, he worked as an independent commercial security consultant. In his new role, Capra will partner with Brantley Lee, vice president, south region.
“Mike has spent his career building and leading successful sales organizations in this industry,” said Ken Poole, chief revenue officer, Security 101. “He understands both the sales and operations sides of the business, and that combination will serve our customers and our teams well as we continue to grow in the region.”
John May brings more than 30 years of sales and leadership experience in the security industry, with deep expertise in territory strategy, sales training, proposal development and contract negotiation. He joins Security 101 from Johnson Controls, where he served as regional security sales director for eight years. Earlier in his career, he held regional sales leadership roles at Diebold, Tyco Integrated Security and ADT Security Services, building high-performing teams and sales strategies across the commercial security market. In his new role, May will partner with Michael Walton, vice president, north region.
“John brings the kind of experience and customer focus that helps a sales organization scale the right way,” Poole said. “His track record speaks for itself, and I’m confident he’ll make an immediate impact across our team.”
Jamie Vos will lead sales leadership and operational execution across the company’s western territory, supporting field teams and integrating newly acquired businesses as the company continues to grow. Many in the industry know Vos through Security Solutions Northwest of Bellingham, Washington, which became part of Security 101 in 2023. A second-generation security integrator, Vos entered the industry in 1994 through his family’s business, Bellingham Lock and Safe. From there, he moved through roles spanning locksmithing, electronic security, operations and leadership, eventually helping lead Security Solutions Northwest as a respected regional provider of commercial security and life safety solutions.
Vos has also been a visible and respected leader in the broader security industry, with roughly 30 years of experience building relationships and advancing the sector. He served as president and chairman of the board of the Electronic Security Association (ESA).
“Our growth is exciting, but growth also requires structure, leadership and accountability,” said Greg Daly, CEO, Security 101. “Jamie built and led one of the most respected independent integrators in the Pacific Northwest before joining us, and elevating proven leaders like him into national roles is exactly how we intend to grow. He brings the experience, credibility and practical understanding of this business to help us scale while staying close to our teams and customers.”
