The National Burglar & Fire Alarm Association (NBFAA) had nearly 300 new member companies take advantage of the benefits and discounts offered during the first round of its New Member Double Bonus Program. The program began in February with three sponsoring organizations: ADI, Criticom Int’l, and the National Training School (NTS). New member companies who joined the association between Feb. 15 and Aug. 15 will receive a total of $150 in incentives ($50 each from ADI, Criticom and NTS) over and above the discounts and services available to all 2005 members. In addition to the gift certificates, both ADI and Criticom Int’l will make a donation of $50 to NBFAA for each new member company, which NBFAA will share with the Chartered State Associations that have signed up to promote the program. NBFAA’s senior director of business development, Tonja Jenkins, said the idea for the program came from NBFAA vice president Counte Cooley (left in photo). NBFAA’s vice president/president elect George Gunning (center in photo) was present to receive the “check” from Criticom Int’l’s Thomas Few Jr. (right in photo).
