Each of 54 locations of the Douglas County School District, Castle Rock, Colo., will receive a security system installed by VTI Security Integrators, Denver, a SecurityNet member. The system, which will include surveillance cameras, digital video recorders and remote monitoring software, is valued at $986,000.

When the project is completed by August 2005, the fourth largest district in the state will monitor a 424-camera system from a central location.
