The 2006 PSA-TEC, PSA Security Network’s new spring conference and trade show, has a new name, dates, city and venue. The PSA-TEC (an acronym for training, exhibits and conference) will be held May 10-13, 2006, at the Pheasant Run Resort and Spa, St. Charles, Ill., located 35 minutes from Chicago’s major airports. The exhibits and training will be open not only to PSA members, but also to others outside of the PSA network.

“We have listened to our members about what they want from PSA’s spring conference,” declared Bill Bozeman, PSA president and CEO. “With the 2006 PSA-TEC, we believe we have located the right venue at the right time of the year, with the right mix of training opportunities and trade show exhibits – all at the right cost, whether a company is attending or exhibiting.”

The 2006 PSA-TEC will be preceded by two days of pre-session technical training. Training continues Wednesday through Saturday, May 13, and will be open for all attendees. Education tracks feature a broad spectrum of training including IT networks, technical security certification, project management and business acumen taught by industry experts.

While the expo and majority of training sessions are open to the entire industry, PSA will hold private PSA functions including the PSA Vendor Appreciation awards banquet, opening mixer, hospitality event and business meeting.
