The iClass product family of contactless access control readers from HID Corp. are now compliant with government smart cards (GSCs). The smart card technology meets government communication protocols that allow compliant cards and readers to communicate with existing and new access control systems from any manufacturer. The readers have the ability to output federal agency smart credential numbers, which is the primary identification string used on all U.S.-government-issued credentials. The readers also simultaneously read HID standard iClass technology cards. HID Corp.
