SDMpresented its 14th annual Securing America Awards during ISC Expo/West in Las Vegas in late March, giving 10 Securing America Awards and five Merit Award to industry manufacturers. Honeywell, GE Security, First Alert Professional, Wheelock Inc., and Cross Point Industries all were recognized for their outstanding material materials aimed at end users, which help support dealer and integrator sales.

The Securing America Awards program honors suppliers who close the loop with dealers and integrators by providing them high-quality sales literature, manuals, marketing materials, community outreach programs, target marketing, online services and resources aimed at residential and non-residential customers.

Annually, SDM’s Securing America Awards program spotlights top suppliers who help dealers and integrators sell more effectively to more businesses and homes. The mission: an industry-wide awareness program that recognizes quality and improvement as hallmarks of successful marketing efforts aimed at end users, which helps you and your industry partners.

All entries were featured in SDM’s March issue during March. SDM’s subscribers were invited to cast their votes online, and a panel of judges was gathered to weigh in their opinions. Judges included SDM’s editors, as well as Dave Merrick, marketing director at Vector Security Inc., Pittsburgh (SDM’s 2003 Dealer of the Year) and Robert Bean, CEO of Alert Alarm of Hawaii, Honolulu.
