Women In Security Electronics (WISE) has planned a special networking session with guest speaker Donna Genett, Ph.D., author of “If You Want It Done Right, You Don’t Have to Do It Yourself!” Genett will provide delegation tips and will be available for book signing. The event is open to all security professionals.

The event will be held Sept.12 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the Security Management Ad Club, room 224 B&C in the Orlando Convention Center. Genett will begin speaking promptly at 4:00, followed by the book signing, a cash bar and networking.

The cost is $25 for members and $35 for non-members. Pre-registration is required and payment forms accepted are check or money order only, and should be sent to Women in Security Electronics, P.O. Box 221603, Chantilly Va. 20153. Attendees also may register on-site the day of the event.

“The purpose of WISE events are not just for networking” said Carole Dougan, WISE events committee chair. “We all have so much on our plates throughout the year and often find ourselves not having time for it all.”

WISE is focused on assisting women by providing professional development, mentoring, networking and greater industry exposure.
