This year, Bold Technologies, Colorado Springs, Colo., celebrates its silver anniversary of providing central station automation and business management software to the security industry.

Bold started in 1981 as Bradley Data Systems with two employees, Jerry Winslow and Kurt Emanuelson. Through the years, beginning with the creation of the Bold Central Station Automation System, the company continued to shape the development of alarm monitoring by introducing faster and more sophisticated software innovations.

“The last 25 years has brought a lot of change to the industry, and Bold is proud to have been evolving along with the industry as a whole,” said Jerry Winslow, vice president of sales and marketing.

“The next 25 years and beyond are going to see more changes in the industry – some changes will be so radical that no one could possibly predict them right now,” said company president, Rod Coles.

As part of the year-long 25th anniversary celebration, Bold has developed a new logo that will be used in the company’s promotional and marketing materials. Bold also will celebrate with its customer-base during the 2006 Bold Users Conference scheduled to take place in July.
