STR Inc., Toronto, Canada, a provider of outdoor
microwave intrusion detection systems, moved its manufacturing operations from
Europe to Toronto, Canada, based on its success in the North American market,
the company said.
Since 2004, STR has maintained an administrative and sales presence in Canada.
Along with the shift of manufacturing operations, STR also is moving into new
corporate offices.
In the coming months, STR will launch its new Canadian manufacturing facility
with the introduction of several new product lines.
STR Inc. also re-launched its Web site,www.strsecurity.com, with additional
features and videos in a more user-friendly format. Once this first phase is completed, STR plans to add a forum
where users of the company’s products can interact.
