The National Burglar & Fire Alarm Association (NBFAA), Irving, Texas, announced GE Security as the exclusive corporate sponsor of the 2009 Leadership Summit, which is scheduled to be held January 13-16, 2009 in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas. The Leadership Summit is an NBFAA-hosted yearly event that brings together volunteer leaders from across the country to build leadership skills and develop association management expertise in order to strengthen chapters and alliances within the security industry.

In addition to GE Security’s commitment, Honeywell has committed to sponsor the Chapter Awards Dinner, which will include a presentation to honor the Chapter President of the Year, Newsletter of the Year, Executive Director of the Year, Chapter of the Year, National Training School (NTS) Instructor of the Year and NTS Training Coordinator of the Year.

ADI, Security America Risk Retention Group and Altronix have also pledged to be luncheon sponsors during the four-day event.

“NBFAA appreciates the commitment that GE Security has made to us and to the industry. Their sponsorship allows us to provide high-quality programs that educate our members and strengthen our industry,” said George DeMarco, chair of the NBFAA Executive Strategic Partnership Program. “We are also very grateful to Honeywell, Security America, ADI and Altronix for their generous support of this important event.”
