After the recent combination of Woodbury, N.Y.-based Tri-Ed Distribution and Northern Video Systems resulted in additional locations, extended inventory and an increasingly comprehensive offering of products, the company seeks to continue expanding with the addition of Martin’s Security Depot to the Tri-Ed/Northern Video Distribution family.

Martin’s Security Depot, a distributor based in Fremont, Calif., will be consolidated into Tri-Ed/Northern Video’s Union City location. Martin’s sales staff will join the Union City sales team, managed by Jason Johnson.

“We firmly believe that Tri-Ed/Northern Video Distribution will provide a more significant distribution solution for the security industry,” notes Pat Comunale, chief operating officer at Tri-Ed/Northern Video. “This newly expanded Union City branch is indicative of our commitment and the first of many more value-added offerings for our customers to come.”
